APEX CNT Graphene Coat by APEX Technology is a superhydrophobic ceramic coating for all painted surfaces. Developed in collaboration with professional detailers, it’s a modern, professional-grade coating that combines ease of application, excellent durability, and premium visual effect.
The coating stands out for its high durability, clarity, strong surface adhesion, efficiency, and self-cleaning properties. It provides exceptional hydrophobic performance, outstanding resistance to UV rays, weather conditions, cleaning agents (pH 3–10), and chemicals — including graffiti. Easy to apply and fast-curing, APEX CNT Graphene Coat achieves full hardness at room temperature.
Contains CNT (XX ppm) and Graphene (XX ppm) — exact concentrations are proprietary trade secrets.
- Advanced CNT nanotechnology – enhanced with Carbon Nanotubes and Graphene for superior strength, flexibility, and conductivity.
- Superhydrophobic protection – extreme water repellency and self-cleaning effect for easy maintenance.
- 9H hardness & durability – long-lasting resistance to scratches, UV rays, and chemicals (pH 3–10).
- Deep gloss & darkening effect – enhances color depth and creates a premium “wet look” finish.
- Easy, fast application – smooth spreading and curing at room temperature (10–30 °C, RH 30–80 %).
- Full curing in 12 hours – surfaces become fully hardened and hydrophobic within half a day.
- Longevity up to 3 years / ≈ 50 000 km – maintains gloss, smoothness, and protection even under harsh conditions.
Application Instructions
Important information before application
Shake the bottle well before use.
Apply in a dry, enclosed, and well-ventilated area, protected from dust and moisture.
Ideal conditions: 15–25 °C, relative humidity 40–70%.
Store the coating in a cool, ventilated place. When opening the bottle, handle carefully — a slight negative pressure may occur.
- Surface Preparation
Proper preparation is essential for perfect bonding and final appearance. The surface must be 100% clean and prepared:
Thorough washing with pH-neutral shampoo.
Decontamination – remove tar, iron particles, sap, and other impurities.
Mandatory polishing – remove micro-scratches, holograms, and oxidation. The coating will “lock in” the current state of the surface, so the post-polish finish will remain visible.
Degreasing with APEX Technology Prime + Prep – wipe the surface to remove oils and any remaining polishing residues.
- Coating Application
Apply 8–10 drops of coating onto the supplied applicator.
Work in 50 × 50 cm sections, using cross-hatch motions (horizontal and vertical).
Apply evenly to create a thin, uniform layer without gaps or streaks.
- Reaction Time
The coating has an extended open time (60–120 seconds), allowing safe application and easy corrections.
As it begins to dry, the surface will take on a light satin or dotted haze – this indicates the coating is ready for wiping.
- Wiping and Leveling
First, use a short-fiber microfiber towel (Pearl type) to remove the initial layer and any streaks.
Then, use a clean, long-fiber microfiber towel (minimum 400 GSM) to level and polish the surface to a uniform gloss.
Inspect the surface under an inspection light and remove any high spots immediately.
- Multiple layers
For increased durability and gloss, a second or third layer can be applied.
Allow at least 1 hour of curing time between layers.
- Curing Time
After application, keep the vehicle stationary for 6–8 hours, avoiding contact with water, moisture, dust, or chemicals.
The coated surface must remain water-free for at least 24 hours after application.
Full chemical bonding occurs after 5–7 days — during this time, avoid washing the vehicle with shampoos or cleaners.
- Consumption and Layers
Bodywork: 1–4 mL/m²
Average total consumption for an SUV: approx. 15–20 mL
Warnings
Do not apply to hot surfaces or under direct sunlight.
Always wear protective gloves, mask, and safety glasses during application.
Improperly applied coating cannot be easily removed, as it bonds deeply into the paint structure.
