APEX PPF by APEX Technology is the first coating specifically designed for PPF (Paint Protection Film) and wrap films, powered by advanced Graphene technology. This innovative formulation delivers superior protection against UV rays, harsh weather conditions, and chemicals — while providing self-cleaning and superhydrophobic properties.
The coating forms a completely transparent layer that preserves the original look of the film, whether matte, satin, or gloss, ensuring full protection without altering surface appearance or shine.
- UV protection – exceptional resistance against UV radiation, preventing fading and degradation of PPF and wraps.
- Superhydrophobic performance – repels water, dirt, and contaminants for easier maintenance and longer-lasting cleanliness.
- Chemical and weather resistance – protects against a wide range of chemicals, including degreasers, acids, and detergents.
- Finish preservation – maintains the natural finish (matte, satin, or gloss) without adding unwanted shine.
- Long-term durability – protection lasting up to 24 months, with annual reapplication recommended for maximum performance.
- Easy application – quick and simple use, achieving full curing at room temperature within 12 hours
Application Instructions
Important information before application
Shake the bottle well before use.
Apply in a dry, enclosed, and well-ventilated area, protected from dust and moisture.
Ideal conditions: 15–25 °C, relative humidity 40–70%.
Store the coating in a cool, ventilated place. When opening the bottle, handle with care — a slight negative pressure may occur.
Surface preparation
Proper preparation is essential for perfect bonding and a clean, uniform appearance. The surface must be 100% ready before application:Thorough wash with pH-neutral shampoo.
Decontamination – remove tar, iron particles, sap, and other contaminants.
Degreasing with APEX Technology Prime + Prep – wipe the surface thoroughly to remove oils and polish residues.
- Coating Application
Apply 8–10 drops of coating onto the supplied applicator.
Work in 50 × 50 cm sections using cross-hatch motions (horizontal and vertical).
Spread evenly to achieve a thin, uniform layer without streaks or gaps.
- Reaction Time
The coating has an extended open time (60–120 seconds), allowing safe and precise work.
When the surface starts forming a light satin haze or fine spotting, it is ready for wiping.
- Wiping and Leveling
First, use a short-fiber microfiber towel (Pearl type) to remove the initial residue.
Then, use a clean, long-fiber microfiber towel (minimum 400 GSM) to level the surface and enhance uniform clarity.
Inspect the surface under an inspection light and remove any high spots or streaks.
- Multiple layers
For improved durability and chemical resistance, a second or third layer may be applied.
Allow at least 1 hour of curing time between layers.
- Drying and curing
After application, keep the vehicle stationary for 6–8 hours, avoiding contact with water, humidity, dust, or chemicals.
The surface must remain dry and water-free for at least 24 hours after application.
Full chemical curing occurs after 5–7 days — during this period, do not wash the vehicle with shampoos or detergents.
- Product consumption
Bodywork / PPF surface: 1–4 mL/m²
Average total consumption for an SUV: approximately 15–20 mL
Warnings
Do not apply on hot surfaces or under direct sunlight.
Always wear protective gloves, mask, and safety glasses during application.
Improperly applied coating cannot be easily removed, as it bonds deeply with the surface layer.
