APEX PHPS Lite Coat by APEX Technology is a next-generation ceramic coating developed for plastic, carbon, rubber, aluminum parts, and headlights. Using advanced PHPS (Polysilazane-based Hybrid Polymer System) technology, it provides superior protection, hydrophobicity, and long-lasting visual enhancement for sensitive surfaces.
- Universal protection – suitable for plastic, carbon fiber, rubber, aluminum, and clear polycarbonate parts.
- UV and anti-corrosion defense – prevents yellowing, fading, and oxidation over time.
- Superhydrophobic performance – repels water and dirt, keeping surfaces cleaner for longer.
- Visual enhancement – restores depth, adds gloss, and delivers a subtle “wet look.”
- Safe for delicate materials – optimized formula for flexible, non-rigid surfaces.
- Durability up to 24 months – long-lasting protection with stability up to 750 °C.
Application Instructions
Important information before application
Shake the bottle well before use.
Apply in a dry, enclosed, and well-ventilated area, protected from dust and moisture.
Ideal conditions: 15–25 °C, relative humidity 40–70%.
Store the coating in a cool, ventilated place. When opening the bottle, handle with care – a slight negative pressure may occur.
For the best results and full protection, apply APEX Technology PHPS Lite precisely according to the instructions.
As the product forms a durable, long-lasting layer, improper application cannot be easily removed.
- Surface Preparation
Wash the surface thoroughly using pre-wash and shampoo, followed by chemical decontamination.
If necessary, polish to remove micro-scratches and imperfections.
Immediately before application, wipe the surface with APEX Prep (IPA-based degreaser) to ensure it is clean and oil-free.
- Coating Application
Shake the bottle before use.
Apply 6–8 drops of coating onto the supplied applicator.
Work in 30 × 30 cm sections, using a cross-hatch pattern (vertical and horizontal motions).
- Reaction Time
Wait approximately 30–45 seconds, depending on temperature and humidity.
When a slight haze or mist appears, the coating is ready for wiping.
- Wiping and Leveling
First, wipe with a short-fiber microfiber towel to remove the initial residue.
Then, use a long-fiber microfiber towel to refine and level the surface to a uniform shine.
- Curing Time
The ceramization and chemical bonding process takes about 12 hours — during this time, avoid any contact with water.
Keep the vehicle or part in a dry, dust-free environment for at least 24 hours.
Full chemical resistance is achieved after 7 days.
Warnings
Do not apply on hot surfaces or under direct sunlight.
Work only in small sections (max. 30 × 30 cm) at a time.
Improperly applied coating cannot be easily removed once cured.
