APEX CNT RGO Graphene Coat by APEX Technology represents the most advanced graphene-ceramic coating on the market — engineered for professional use in the most demanding applications where there is no room for compromise. Combining Carbon Nanotube (CNT) and Reduced Graphene Oxide (RGO) technology, it delivers exceptional durability, hydrophobic performance, and chemical resistance in a single, easy-to-apply system.
- Advanced RGO formulation – Reduced Graphene Oxide enhances conductivity, flexibility, UV protection, and thermal distribution while significantly reducing static charge and dust attraction.
- CNT nanotechnology – multi-walled carbon nanotubes provide outstanding tensile strength, elasticity, and mechanical stability.
- 9H hardness – ensures durable, scratch-resistant protection against mechanical and chemical stress (pH 3–10).
- Superhydrophobic & self-cleaning effect – water contact angle >160°, dirt and contaminants easily rinse off the surface.
- High UV & chemical resistance – excellent protection against UV radiation, weathering, detergents, and environmental contaminants.
- Darkening effect – deepens color tones and enhances gloss for a “wet look” finish.
- Longevity – up to 5 years or ≈70,000 km under optimal conditions and proper maintenance.
- Professional-grade formula – designed for accredited applicators seeking maximum performance with easy and efficient application.
Application Instructions
Important information before application
Shake the bottle well before use.
Apply in a dry, enclosed, and well-ventilated area, protected from dust and moisture.
Ideal conditions: 15–25 °C, relative humidity 40–70%.
Store the coating in a cool, ventilated place. When opening the bottle, handle with care – a slight negative pressure may occur.
Surface preparation
Proper preparation is essential for full bonding and the best visual finish. The surface must be 100% clean and corrected before coating:Thorough wash with a pH-neutral shampoo.
Decontamination – remove tar, iron particles, sap, and other surface contaminants.
Mandatory polishing – eliminate micro-scratches, holograms, and oxidation. The coating will “lock in” the surface condition, so the polished finish will be permanently preserved.
Degreasing with APEX Technology Prime + Prep – wipe all treated areas with Prime + Prep to remove oils and polish residues.
The surface must be dry, clean, and cool to the touch before application.
- Coating Application
Apply 8–10 drops of coating onto the supplied applicator.
Work in 50 × 50 cm sections using cross-hatch motions (horizontal and vertical).
Spread evenly to create a thin, uniform layer without gaps or excessive buildup.
- Flash / reaction time
The coating has an extended open time (60–120 seconds), allowing safer application and corrections.
When the surface begins to show a light satin appearance with fine droplets or haze, it is ready for wiping.
- Wiping and Leveling
First, use a short-fiber microfiber towel (Pearl type) to remove the initial residue and any visible streaks.
Follow with a clean, long-fiber microfiber towel (minimum 400 GSM) to achieve full leveling and a deep gloss finish.
Always inspect the surface under an inspection light to ensure no high spots remain.
- Multiple layers
For enhanced durability and hydrophobic performance, you may apply a second or third layer.
Allow at least 1 hour of curing time between each layer.
- Drying and curing
After application, keep the vehicle stationary for 6–8 hours, avoiding exposure to water, moisture, dust, or chemicals.
The surface must remain free of water contact for at least 24 hours after application.
Full chemical curing occurs after 5–7 days. During this time, avoid washing the vehicle with shampoos or detergents.
Product consumption
Body panels: 1–4 mL/m²
Average total consumption for an SUV: approximately 15–20 mL
